Getting Connected

Most current operating systems come with their own PPP dialup software. Panix has written some easy instructions for setting these up, and we can give you a dialer on disk if you're using an older system without its own dialer.

Panix ADSL customers will find help for their PPPoE settings and software here too.

Lastly, we have a list of generic server settings, if you're running a UNIX system (for instance) and just need the server addresses.

Panix does not provide specific help with UNIX PPP setup, due to the many differences across different versions of UNIX. However, we can point you in a helpful direction: the linux.org "howto" archive. Please Note: These Linux help pages are not maintained by Panix, and we cannot provide help with or advise on their contents.
